Holy Eucharist
The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, or Holy Communion, is usually received at Mass, although Holy Communion may also be received apart from Mass, for instance by the sick in their home or in the hospital or nursing home or by people for whom a priest is not available. In Holy Communion we receive the true Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Mass is both a sacrament and a sacrifice and it is also a meal.
